Wicked Antique Victorian Gothic Serpent Door Stop Dragon Snake Putti Doorstop

Description

This is a wicked old iron door stop with a serpent getting ready to strike a putti/cherub type character.  The heavy old door stop measures 9" wide x 17" tall and it is just shy of 12 pounds.  It is age worn with lots of character and some rust showing through, sold as found, see photos.  Very unusual, great in any room as a statue as well.
Our inventory is mostly pre-owned, vintage and antique items. Vintage and antique items will show some signs of wear and use and may have some age wear imperfections, but this only adds to the mystique and charm of things that have been well-loved for generations. We do our best to make note of any imperfections, but feel free to ask any questions before purchasing as due to the fragile one of a kind nature of our items, we do not want to be shipping back and forth so we have an ALL SALES FINAL policy.
