Henry Flagler was a captain of industry and a leading developer of Florida.  He built is mansion, Whitehall, in Palm beach in 1902.  After his death in 1913 and that of his wife several years later, the house was sold to investors.  Those investors built a ten story addition and opened a hotel in 1925, a beautiful luxury spot.  In 1959, the site was scheduled for demolition but was purchased by Mr. Flagler's neice who established the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum in 1959.  It reopened as a museum in 1960 and the hotel addition was demolished in 1963.

Overall very good - it has much less than the usual wear and scratches typical of hotel plate (see photos).
