Previously owned, in excellent condition. Round vintage brass and multicolored
enamel
trinket dish/shallow plate, measures approx. 4.75 inches diameter. Slight p
atina on underside indicative of vintage age, a few trace smudges and light scratches (please see photos) consistent with its age and normal, gentle use, display, and storage.
Brass metalware with lovely ornate, delicate cloisonné enamel pattern of green and blue peacocks with gold-toned botanicals/florals in foreground against cream background, one larger peacock in center, slender red and gold bands encircle rim (please see photos), made in India likely during the mid to latter part of the 20th century. Can be used as a trinket dish, ring dish, loose coin plate, coaster, wall display or table
décor, etc.
Original
vintage paper label still affixed underneath dish, is a bit faded and has a few smudges. Faded blue stamp on left side of label has a logo of an animal, looks like a bull, and all-caps text (presumably the name of the manufacturer) that reads, "CAUVERT" or "CALLVERT" or something similar - additional text on label reads:
