Vintage Vantines Incense Burner Art Deco Chinoiserie Cast Spelter Made in France

Description

This is a vintage Vantines cone incense burner.
I believe it is made of spelter, rubbed areas show a white metal undertone.
It is round, with 3 feet and 3 handles, 6 holes; copy of ancient bronze Chinese incense burners.
Design motif is classic Art Deco period Chinoiserie.
The lid has a finial that is also pierced to allow smoke to escape from the top.
Clearly marked on the base Vantines No 1027 Made in France.
Lid is lacquered on the interior and also stamped Made in France.
It has been used, nice patina on the metal.
It is 3" tall with the lid and 3" in diameter. Weight is 7 oz.
Complete, intact, very good condition.
