Vintage Tiffany & Co. Streamerica Metrozone Stainless Steel Travel Picture Frame
DESCRIPTION:
Tiffany & Co. introduced the Streamerica collection of personal accessories and watches in 1990 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its New York headquarters. Streamerica is inspired by the aerodynamic principles of the 1939 New York World’s Fair, the Streamlined designed collection evolved from the profile of a DC-3 wing and the bolted metal sheeting of airplane construction.
This beautiful Metrozone double picture frame closes on a hinge to securely protect your precious photos while traveling. It is crafted of brushed stainless steel with the line's iconic etched line and rivet design. Each photo area measures approximately 2" wide by just over 1.5" inches high. No glass is included. Two thin clip mechanisms hold your photos in place. Piece is stamped "Tiffany & Co. on the outside. Its original teal sticker reading "Tiffany & Co. Made in Switzerland" in still present.
CONDITION:
Frame is offered in as-found vintage condition, with significant dings present and some minor to moderate scuffing. No glass is present for the frames. These issues are cosmetic; the structure of each piece remains sound. Please review all photos prior to purchase.
DIMENSIONS/closed:
3-1/4" in length, 2-1/8" in width, 3/4" in height. Just over 5-1/2" in width when open. Picture slots measure appx. 2" in by 1.5" in.
