Vintage Nambe 554 11 1/2" Metal Alloy Plate - Round Solid Platter

Description

This is a Vintage Nambe 554 11 1/2" Metal Alloy Plate. It is a heavy, round platter that can placed in the freezer or heated in the oven prior to use.  we would guess that this piece is from the 60's.
It measures 11 5/8" in Diameter and 5/8" Tall.  It weighs about 3 pounds.  It has a few marks and scratches.  It will need to be polished with Nambe polish that can be purchased on their website.
Nambé is best known for its signature alloy blend, a proprietary combination of eight metals. When polished, Nambé alloy has a beautiful silver-like luster, yet it does not chip or peel and is resistant to tarnish.
Beautiful, and useful, it is oven-safe, is freezer-safe, and possesses the unique ability to retain temperature—both hot and cold—for long periods of time.
