    Offered here is a pair of cast-iron bookends made by Judd Manufacturing Company..
    Circa 1925.
    These wonderful bookends are some of the greatest works in literature from left to right: Rubiyat, Tennyson, Burns, Field, Moore, Sappho, Milton, Riley, Keats, Browning, Spencer, Herrick, Byron, Shelley and Longfellow.
    They are marked 9878 on the back side.
    This is typical Judd  construction. The bases are painted cast-iron and the books are spelter and are secured to the base by screws.
    They are marked Shakespeare on the base in are hand painted.
    Take a good look at the photographs. These are in great condition.
    The bookends  measure 4 1/2 inches tall, 7 3/4 inches wide and 2 inches deep. The pair weigh 15 pounds.
