    Offered here pair of water bird bookends by Hubley called Cranes in the Bulrushes
    Circa 1925.
    The only place I have seen any reference to this ad is in the 1997 collectors guide to Cast Metal Bookends.
    I have included a photo from that book as well as a photo of the back cover which includes this set of bookends. I probably would’ve passed over them completely if I had recognized the photo from the back cover.
    They are marked 413 on the backside.
    Bronze finish over cast-iron.
    The finish is in great condition.
    The bookends are 6 1/2 inches tall and the pair weigh 2 lbs. 14 oz.
