Vintage Hotel Silver Soldered Teapot Hotel Palmer House Chicago 1943 Large 54 oz
Vintage, silver soldered, Hotel Palmer House Chicago, teapot dated 1943. This wonderful teapot is from the historical Palmer House Hotel that opened on November 8, 1873, and is the nation’s longest continually operating hotel. This teapot is large like the ones used in the dining room for several people versus room service which is service for one. Beautiful piece and a lovely part of Chicago history.
Marks:The bottom reads International Silver Co, Silver Soldered, Palmer House 0211-11 54 oz and 43 which is the date mark meaning 1943
Measurements: approx 8 3/4" tall x 10" handle to spout
This teapot is in great vintage condition for it's age and use. Show some signs of age and use such as light surface scratches and dings. Inside is very clean.
