    Description

    Heavy, sturdy vintage (circa 1930s) French zinc bucket/basin has been used as a garden planter. Was most likely originally used for washing clothes on a French farm. Metal band along the base to keep bottom off the ground. The basin is very good condition; no holes or weaknesses to the metal. Riveted seam. Exterior and interior have a great patina; shows age and use, as expected. Cast iron rings for handles and to hang up to dry out/store when not in use. Perfect size to use as a planter, or hold kindling wood by the wood burning stove/fireplace/fire pit. Measures 16 inches by 14 inches; 7 inches high.
