  • Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No breaks, damage or repairs. A few pinpricks where paint has chipped and the bottom of the 'feet' show paint loss that is not visible while displayed. I'd rate them at 97+ on a 100 point scale but you are the final judge so please review my high definition photographs to fully appreciate the condition.

    About this Item:
    Elegant pierced compote featuring finely cast figures from Greek mythology.  This is a wonderful, classically inspired piece featuring ( I think) Poseidon with trident, Nereid riding a Hippocamps (fish-tailed horse), Poseidon on a stylized dolphin and Athena reclining on another dolphin holding a spear.
    This piece was crafted in cast iron by the Robert Emig Co. which was founded in 1945 in Reading Pennsylvania.
