Vintage Bolivian Handmade Sugar Bowl with Lid, This is made of German silver or nickel silver, which consists of copper, nickel and zinc.  There is no sterling silver in it at all.  This charming piece of folk art measures 5.25" tall by 5.5" in diameter.  It weighs is 10 oz.  I bought it in La Paz, Bolivia, in 1986.  It is handmade--- raised to get its shape and chased, repoussed and stamped to decorate it.  The legs, handles and llama on top of the lid are cast.  It is a delightful piece and in perfect condition.
