    Description

    A vintage cast iron advertising skillet ashtray with the words “
    SOUTH DAKOTA Pheasant Capitol
    " with a depiction of a pheasant. The Chinese ring-necked pheasant (phasianus culchicus) was introduced in the U.S. in the 1880s and was designated as South Dakota's official state bird on February 13, 1943.
    Size is 3-3/4“ diameter x 6“ length with handle. In very good condition, finished in flat black paint.
