    Description

    There's a lot I want to say about these, so please read carefully.
    I put these under new because I never used them. But, I have had them stored in a box for over 20 years. Really, they're not new, but they're also not used.
    I got these in the days it was easy to find great cotton rag butts or strips. I loved this color so much I hoarded it over the years just in case I got back into rag weaving. But, after 21 years, I came to realize I already knew the answer to that question, so I'm finally giving them up.
    This green was rare to get back in the day, so a lot more rare now since it's hard getting any good rag butts! This is a great find for someone that's interested.
    Details
    * I call this sage green
    * strips about 3 1/4" wide
    * The edge/border does have what I call a seam, but it's really just the finished border. Anyone familiar with rag weaving will know what I mean when I say the finished edges are soft. So if you don't mind the difference in color, they can be woven also. Not all the strips have the border on them. What I use to do if the borders were soft was put them aside so my weaving would be consistent and use the soft borders in a different project where the project would also be color consistent.
    * NOTE: you can see the border in the close up picture and it's about 1/2"
    * As you can see from the picture, the back side is lighter than the front which was the norm.
    * I'm sorry I can't lower the shipping. It's the actual USPS shipping, so nothing I can do about it. I DO remember complaining about having to pay so much for boxes of these cotton butts over 21 years ago. Some things don't change. *;)
    * The shipping weight (including box) is 4lbs 14ozs and the weight of the box is 10.1 ozs. The cost will be shown on the listing. I just wanted everyone to know the weight of the box also.
