    Description

    1 RARE Vintage FRANZ HAGENAUER Brass ART DECO Early Mouse or Dancing Bear BOOKEND, Marked "Made in Austria" on both pieces.
    No damage other than normal tarnish on brass
    5 3/4" High
    These can be found illustrated in the Catalogue of Werkstatt Hagenauer, Wien 1928, Reprint 1999, Plate 13, Nr. 1333.
    The only record of a pair of these rare example were last sold in 2008 for over 1000 Euro by Von Zezschwitz Art and Design Auctions, Munich, Germany.
