Peder Marius Jensen Denmark 1883-1925 - Large Bronze Sculpture Two Pheasants. Condition is "Used".
You are bidding on an antique Peder Marius Jensen Bronze sculpture of two pheasants from the early 1900's. Peder Marius Jensen was a Danish Sculpture born in 1883 in Fredericia. He died in 1925.
This is a very large bronze sculpture. It is 12 inches tall and 32 inches long. The sculpture is in great condition. There is a little rust on the screws that mount the pheasants to the bronze base on the underside of the sculpture and the felt on the bottom of the marble base needs to be replaced. Other than needing a proper cleaning everything seems to be in great shape. Not bad for 100 years old. I will leave the cleaning and felt replacement to the new owner as I know sometimes you can cause damage to these things if you do not know how to properly clean them.
If you are bidding on this piece you know it is a quality piece of art. It is about 100 years old. I researched this piece online and have seen it at auction for well over a thousand dollars.
This piece is large and needs to be professionally packaged for shipping, especially if it will be shipped internationally. The sculpture is 32 inches long and is heavy. Obviously the marble base in also quite heavy. I will not ship or package this item. Shipping and packing arrangements must be made by the buyer. This item must be picked up locally.
