Here is a great pair of Vintage Variegated Marble Urns with Matching Pedestals for your buying consideration.  Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep them for yourself!
This fine pair of marble urns and matching pedestals is being offered to you at a price below what you would see in a high end gallery, as we can better control our acquisition costs, keep commission costs low (if applicable), and then we don't have the overhead that the galleries do
.
Here is a nice set of vintage marble urns and matching pedestals for you here.   Great detailing to the urns.  Both the pedestals and urns are made of real marble.  Very heavy, 150 pounds here combined.  These pieces are not made of some faux material here.  The graining or variegated marble, and the changing colors are just beautiful.
The bodies of the urns are intact as well.  One of the urns has a blister along the top rim of the piece, see pic.
There is a cavity inside of each urn.
The pedestals  are just as beautiful as the urns.  The tops sit down on the rest of the pedestal with 3 brass screws that then fit into holes in the top of the pedestal to secure in place.  One of the pedestals has a piece of the marble missing off of the upright column, see pic.
The Marble Urn and Pedestal Set was probably made in the past 50 to 60 years.  No maker markings, or country of origination are noted on the pieces.  On the bottom of one of the pedestals it is dated 12/25/1983 and says Wilfred to Mary Azar, whom was a well known artist in her own right.
Really nice detailing to both the marble urns and the pedestals. Some minor loss of finish to each urn, adding a nice patina.
Each of the Marble Urns is 16" tall, by 7.25" across at the top, and 7.5" across at the bottom of the urn.
Each of the Marble Pedestals is 26.5" tall, by 11" across.  The pictures here accurately show the condition of the urns and pedestals being offered.  Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.  Don’t be shy to make an offer, we are always open to reasonable suggestions.
The Marble Urns and Pedestals are too large for us to crate, pack and ship.  This piece is for local pick up in Georgetown, DE, or you can make arrangements with our local UPS store to pack and ship it for you.  You might also want to check with UShip about handling this item for you.
We will also deliver the Marble Urns and Pedestals within 150 miles one way of Georgetown, DE.
Price would be $.70 per mile for the round trip delivery plus any tolls/parking fees.
So, for example, if 40 miles to your property and in tolls, it would be (2*40*$.70+) for seller to deliver item to you.
Should we agree to deliver these marble pedestals and urns to you, and you decide to return the item, for whatever reason, such delivery charges are not refundable.
The pictures provided both complement and supplement the listing description, so please look at them very closely as well.  With old items, there is no way one can capture all the little imperfections in words, so the two media are meant to be the full description.
