Cast Iron Kings Genius Saddlebred Doorstop
Kings Genius (Bourbon King x Princess Eugenia), foaled in 1924, was a legendary American Saddlebred Show Horse and Sire.  His popularity in the 1930s inspired the production of this cast iron doorstop, copyrighted 1938.  The stance looks just like a painting of this horse by George Ford Morris.
This proud doorstop is in black cast iron.  The back reads Copyrighted-1938, Rife-Loth Corp, Waynesboro, VA.
This is being sold at a reduced amount because there has been damage to the ears.  One ear is chipped and the other has a soldered repair.  The doorstop is otherwise in solid condition and displays nicely from a couple of feet away.
The horse stands about almost 12 inches tall and 12 inches long. He weighs about 6 1/4 pounds.
