Old Franz Bergmann Wiener Bronze - Erotics Scene
"Devil and Nude"
We are offering this authentic Vienna Bronze (Wiener Bronze), handmade in Vienna, Austria by the Bergmann workshop. I recently acquired this scene from a local estate. I have never seen this model before, I guess it is rare. It is definitely an old object, manufactured 80-120 years ago, I just cleaned some old polishing residue off. As these figurines are antique there may be minor signs of age / wear. However, both are in very good condition.
There is a Bergmann "Jug" at the bottom of the devil.
Both figurines are antique.
The items will be delivered in a small gift bag.
About the production of these figures
The material of the object is brass. They are made of casted parts and small formed brass chips like the leafs. The casting technique: Achieving such a high level of detail requires a very complex and time intensive production process: At the beginning moulds of wax were created, including drains for air and melted brass. All that was covered with clay. The mould was dried and fired. At the same time the wax melted and created a hollow space which was later filled with molten bronze. After casting and cooling the ceramic mould was destroyed and the brass core removed. The drains were then taken off and the whole surface was engraved by hammer and punch followed by the very costly and detailed painting.

I am located in Vienna, Austria, EU and ship from here. Although all parcels go by airmail, sometimes it can take a bit longer than expected. An average parcel, e.g. to the USA, takes about 10-14 business days to arrive. Sometimes it can also take 3-4 weeks. There are customs and security checks involved that sometimes delay the shipment.
Especially smaller parcels (up to 1kg), get in many cases upgraded at my costs to priority parcel mail (depends on the weight and destination). Still there is no guaranteed shipping time.
Carriers I use are the Austrian Post and sometimes smaller carriers like Hermes and GLS. In your country the parcels will be delivered with a local carrier (e.g. USPS in the USA).
