    Description

Note, I have and will be selling only pieces from Dads eclectic collection.  Dad collected only from private homes circa 1950 - 1980 pre computer era.  This is due to the fact that I am now the old guy.  These are a pair of Creampuff condition Metalcraft Iron ducks that were manufactured in Waynesboro Va  Metalcraft was a manufacturer of the finest metal pieces and was an unofficial offspring of Historic Williamsburg during the height of it popularity.  In short they were top shelf.  Each duck of the pair has a pronounced serial numbered dated 1950.  The taller duck stands about 11 1/2 inches tall , 12 in long  base 4 1/4 wide  5 1/4 long and weighs a hefty 11 pounds.  The shorter duck stands about 7 1/8 tall  12 in long  base is about 5 in by 5 in. and weighs about 12 lbs.  Both ducks were part of my great aunts collection that dad acquired from her around 1968.  Please note the picture of the Williamsburg Kittinger authentic tilt top table in photos.  The ducks came with the table back in the day.  The pile that I am going through is nothing compared to the rest of the booty . The ducks are in truly cream puff condition with very minut nicks and rust.  Note that this is the original factory finish. PAINT IS ORIGINAL FACTORY FINISH !  They have been never been repainted or altered.  They have never been outside and where always well taken care of and respected for their quality and expense as I believe they were quite pricey when purchased new.  I believe these to be the nicest original pairs ever seen and now being over 70 yrs old. True rare remnant pieces of American Quality Artisanship.   S/h packed right !! is 21.00    If this is your thing you will be pleased with this piece.    Please examine all my photos well.  Thank you, Ed
