Alex Ovechkin played in CCM hockey gear (and joined the CCM roster) from his rookie year in 2005 thru 2011.  He then signed with Bauer for a few years and has re-signed with CCM in 2017.
On February 22, 2020, Alex Ovechkin (2nd youngest player to do so) became only the 8th player to score 700 goals joining Wayne
Gretzky (894), Gordie Howe (801), Jaromir Jagr (766), Brett Hull (741), Marcel Dionne (731), Phil Esposito (717) and Mike Gartner (708).
NOTE
:  Alex's overall tally currently stands at 730 goals.  He has now surpassed Mike Gartner, Phil Esposito, is in 6th place and needs 1 goal to tie Marcel Dionne for the 5th spot.
I find it astounding that of all the players (past and present) that played and currently play in the NHL, only 8 (so far) ever made it to the 700 Club.  This acknowledges the difficulty of this accomplishment.  It requires a certain level of skill to play the game of hockey and the ones who make it to the professional level, are in a league of their own; but this 700 Club group of players are truly an extraordinary and exceptional breed.
I purchased these skates new and they have been tucked away in a clean environment ever since.  They lQQk magnificent!
The Runners (stainless steel blades) have a 1/2" (inch) edge on it.
This professional skate can be used as intended, or kept as a
collectible because CCM will likely not make another
OVI
special edition skate again.
If they are going to be used,
I recommend having them baked by a professional hockey store so they will mold nicely to your feet
