    Oh MY!! Offered is a Viennese bronze and gold elephant sculpture. Completely irresistible (
    those
    ears
    )... one slightly larger.. they sway as if their in a happy dance!! A most enchanting piece of art! Art Deco in style... made in Austria and designed by Viennese sculpture and master metal craftsman Richard Rohac (1906-1956). He began and completed his apprenticeship with Werkstätte Hagenauer Wien in Vienna as a teenager,and stayed with the workshop another 9 years before opening his own metal business in 1932. He designed a range of jungle animals in the 1950’s. His contemporaries include Karl Hagenauer and Walter Bosse. Dimensions: 2.25” tall x 2.75” across. In excellent original condition.
