MY FEEDBACK IS PERFECT, SO BID WITH CONFIDENCE.
THE TWO SOLID METAL KENTUCKY DERBY TYPE
HORSE STATUES THAT I HAVE UP FOR BIDS ARE VINTAGE AND VERY RARE. TAKE A LOOK AT MY ATTACHED PHOTOGRAPHS AND YOU'LL NOTICE THAT ONE HAS TWO FLAWS, ITS TAIL IS BROKEN OFF AND PART OF ONE OF ITS EARS IS BROKEN OFF
(
I'M CERTAIN THAT THESE FLAWS COULD BE EASILY REPAIRED), AND THE OTHER STATUE HAS ITS TAIL BROKEN OFF.
This statue with the two flaws was created by the
K&O (Kronheim & Oldenbusch) company which started its business in the late 1800s and closed in the late 1930s, so this horse statue has to be at least about EIGHTY YEARS old, and could be a lot older.
Despite its age, as you can see when you check out my attached photographs, except for its two flaws, it's in EXCELLENT condition.
The other statue doesn't have a maker's mark, but I have seen others just like it that were made by K&O also
.
METAL STATUES CREATED BY CRAFTSMEN WHO WORKED FOR K&O ARE HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER BY COLLECTORS, SO ARE VERY GOOD INVESTMENTS
.
BECAUSE OF THE TWO FLAWS, MY OPENING BID FOR THESE TWO METAL HORSE STATUES IS ONLY NINETY-NINE CENTS. IF THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE FLAWS, MY OPENING BID WOULD BE OVER FIFTY DOLLARS, SO IF A PERSON REPAIRED THEM CAREFULLY, HE OR SHE COULD SELL THEM FOR QUITE A BIT MORE THAN NINETY-NINE CENTS!
The shipping and handling charge for these horse statues is .99 I combine shipping and handling charges if a bidder wins more than one of my auctions.
Good luck bidding!!!
