– No Affect: Aliphatic Solvents, Weak Bases, Salt Water (O-S-1926), Hydraulic Fluid (MIL-A-5606), Lubricating Oil (MIL-A-8243), De-Icing Fluid (MIL-A-8243), Esters/Ketones, UV Light, Petroleum, Fungus (ASTM G-21), Salts | Little Affect: Aromatic Solvents, Strong Bases, Strong Oxidants | Affected: Chlorinated Solvents, Strong Acids. If required, cut the braided sleeving with a hot knife. This method will prevent fraying, and overall external damage to the sleeves.
