Handmade by Natale, Leesburg, PA. Natale Rossi, when an 18-year-old worker at the Wendell August Forge, is credited with discovering the repousse technique of applying decoration to aluminum. He was the Forge's Master Die Engraver for over 30 years. Possibly his greatest accomplishment, and that of the August forge, was the hand-forged aluminum hood atop the Baptismal Font in the Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral in Toledo, Ohio. Later, Rossi became one of the many August Forge workers to start their own business.
