    Description

    An unusual piece--Hand Knotter for Fisherman's (Weaver's) Knots in the Weaving and Textile IndustryMade by Mellor Bromley of Leicester, England. Model No. L. 26 .The steel gadget, which is attached to the wrist by a leather strap, is operated by a finger trigger which turns and lifts hooks within the contraption, knotting two yarns or threads together. In excellent working condition. Surface scratching  from use and wear---please see photos. Leather wrist strap with fleece lining, in excellent condition. Total length 6 1/2 inches.   United States Patent from Mellor Bromley in 1962.
