German/Dutch Jugendstil Pewter Mounted Enamelware /Graniteware Coffee Pot c.1905

Description

This gorgeous enamelled coffee pot is mounted by a lovely heavy pewter lid, spout and handle.  The piece is thoroughly in the German or Dutch Jugendstil manner.  I think it dates to about 1905.  The sides of our coffee pot are decorated with heavily stylized enamelled leaves and flowers on a matrix of hexagons on an azure background.  I believe the body of this piece is enamel on a metal base perhaps iron or steel.  The interior is enameled white.  The pot stands 11.5" tall and is 5.25" in diameter.  It is in excellent condition with no dents, cracks or enamel loss.
