Offered here for your consideration is a
fine, diminutive, period bowl by the Boston Arts and Crafts Metalsmith - George Gebelein. Comprised of hand-hammered silver and copper in the traditional Paul Revere form - an innovative riff on a New England classic
. It dates to the early 20th century.
This bowl is in overall good, as-pictured used estate condition with some spots of tarnish and oxidation here and there, light edge wear, fine and light surface scratches and scuffing here and there, other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
The base is stamped with the maker's mark, Gebelein and Boston.
