    Description

    Here we have a beautiful antique Elkington & Co. silver plate Claret Jug featuring classical bulbous body with fine swag and Tudor rose engraving, curvaceous lip and handle, and well detailed fig & leaf thumb piece (removable for cleaning,) the whole resting on a round stepped foot. Excellent condition with perhaps a few tiny dings as would be expected. The plating is in excellent condition as well. No chips, cracks or repairs. Measures 12-3/4" to the top of the handle. The body measures 5-3/4" in diameter at the widest point. C.1880
