    Early 19th Century Antique Italian Brass And Wood Birdcage. This is a beautiful birdcage of brass and wood that stands 24 3/4” high and is 11 5/8” wide by 11 5/8” wide. This is from the early 1800’s and is in near perfect condition. It has typical wear commensurate with antique age. The base and top rim are made of the same type of wood and the base has 4 feet on the bottom. It is missing one nut on the bottom that is easily replaceable. It is 100% structurally sound as is. The inside of the cage has a perch for a bird. The top has a brass ring and 8 brass phineals. This is a stunning piece and is marked on the bottom made in Italy.
