    Description

    This is a beautiful brass teapot with highly detailed silver* and copper inlay in origin.  The designs and metals are hand hammered into the brass and are very detailed. The base is a bowl where hot coals would have been keep to keep the tea hot. *The silver is of lower grade not sterling.
    Please note: There is a small crack in the base of the spout so this will not hold water without a repair.  I generally find that these items are now only used for display particularly since it is now recommended that we not drink for brass vessels that are not tinned.
