Copper Metal Tankard, Made in UK, Girling Brakes.
This is a very nice metal tankard that stands 5" tall, 4" diameter at the base and 3" diameter at the lip.  It is non-magnetic so probably made from copper, internally coated with tin, and has a cast brass handle.  It has been lacquered to protect the copper from tarnish and around the rims the lacquer has crazed but there is no noticeable tarnish.  One side is imprinted with the name "Girling" which means that it was commissioned by Girling, the British maker of automotive braking systems and likely given out to customers or employees.  It is in excellent condition, clean and dent-free.
