Auction for Bandai Ultraseven Pointer car model kit.
1. Bandai/Bullmark Ultraseven TDF PO-1 Pointer patrol car circa 1998. Not entirely sure of the scale but in my opinion looks to be 1/32 or 1/35. This is an easy assembly model (according to box) with a wind up engine. Model is open as came with an outer box and an inner box. Plastic parts are still on sprue, sealed in plastic. Other parts including wind up engine and rubber tires still sealed in plastic. Stick on decals present. Instructions present. Outer box shows normal wear/tear to include minor scuffing with age/storage.
As famous as the Batmobile is to Americans is the TDF PO-1 to the Japanese. The Utltraseven TDF PO-1 Pointer is a special modified patrol car used to fight aliens. When switched to autopilot is can travel at 365km per hour. It was destroyed in episode 39 by the Alien GUTS Team. It was capable of laying a smokescreen, had a small jet engine, lightwave barrier system, Ultra missile, perspective ray light, hover system, special rubber tires, and ray gun. The TV show vehicle was built around a 1958 Imperial Chrysler.  The vehicle was the design of Toru Narita, a famous Japanese artist. The design concept was a car which could be used in both of the sky and the land.  To create the illusion of flight, both rear fenders were extensively modified into a big horizontal wings and a vertical fin.  The front of the car was also heavily modified.  Below the fenders are small holes which were laser cannons.
