Authentic Enrico Caruso 22 Cent U. S. Postage Stamp is on sale for your purchase. Shipped upon cleared payment.
It has a very slight cancellation stamp left center.
It has the original gum on the back. The stamp measures about 1 inch by 2 inches.
The stamp is purplish on the top part with different pigments of that color for the background and parts of Enrico's clothing. He is also wearing a cap and has a Shakespearean type collar around his neck.
The bottom part is tan colors and he wears a long necklace with an oval pendant.
The edges of the stamp are jagged like from a stamp sheet.
This stamp is from the performing arts series of stamps issued in 1987. He was an opera singer at the Metropolitan Opera and was considered one of the greatest of his time.
