    Description

    Found in the Normandy region of France, this lovely copper pitcher is from Villedieu, which is known for manufacturing of copper after WW II.
    Most likely this pitcher was used to serve
    poiré, a pear cider that is a traditional drink in Normandie. Charming embossed design. Marking on the bottom. Perfect used as a vase filled with freshly cut flowers! As you can see from the photos, there are a few dents and scratches due to age (circa 1950s) and use. Measures 9 inches tall with a base diameter of 4.25 inches. Shipped within the USA only.
