Austen & Son Irish Pewter Pub Haystack Noggin Replica - Made Circa 1922

This Irish Haystack Pewter is marked with a replica Austen & Son stamp on the bottom. This piece was likely the 100 year anniversary replica made in the 1920's (probably to celebrate it's Century old Haystack design and it's maker back in 1822) The makers of the replicas are still unknown, but they were produced in the UK in the 1920's is all we know.
Since it is now 2022, the replica itself has ironically become a hundred year old antique.  I guess we would call this an "antique replica antique"?  It's a fine quality replica that blends in beautifully with the original 1822 Austen & Son Haystack Measures in comparison.
It's a great collectable if you are seeking Early Ireland design, and not too concerned with being an original. This is one of the better replicas I've seen in the marketplace.  It's a Noggin size, but not stamped Noggin on the side like the originals.
Perfect if you are looking for old Irish decor (in the kitchen, or on the fireplace mantle... or that special shelf).
Measures 3 3/4" tall x 2 1/4" in diameter at the base and 1 1/2" in diameter at the top.
Great patina. Uncleaned and not polished. Made in the UK (possibly Ireland since it was not stamped England)
