Antique Vintage Petite French Enamel Teapot, White & Brown Mottled, Hinged Lid

Description

Petite French enamel single serve teapot; white enamel base enhanced by a brown mottled pattern. It dates from the early 1900s; seamed body and riveted handle. The knob, which is also riveted to the lid, has a rounded shape characteristic of the period. The underside is trademark stamped, but not a recognizable manufacturer's logo. This century-old teapot has some bruises due to age and lots of use, but doesn't distract from the overall appeal. Interior bottom has a chip to the white enamel; no rust. Loss of enamel on the handle and edges due to age and use. Perfect addition to your French enamelware teapot collection!
Measures 4.25 inches tall with hinged lid; 2⅞ inches in diameter at the bottom.
