THESE ARE A MUCH RARER VERSION OF THE ANTIQUE MONKEY " SEE, SPEAK, HEAR NO EVIL BOOKENDS " AND DO NOT APPEAR TOO OFTEN IN TODAYS DECORATIVE BOOKENDS ARTS MARKETPLACE!! THEY HAVE AGED NICELY OVER THE LAST 80 + YEARS AS SHOWN!! THEY ARE MADE OF THICK ANTIQUE BRONZE LIKE HEAVY METAL WITH A DARK AGED PATINA ON THEM AS SHOWN!! THEY EACH MEASURE A WONDERFUL AND LARGE DISPLAY SIZE: 6 " LONG, X 5 5/8 " HIGH, X 3 " FRONT TO BACK. THEY WEIGH A VERY HEFTY 7 1/2 POUNDS PRIOR TO PACKAGING!! THERE IS TINY PEA SIZE HOLE ON THE BACK OF EACH BOOKEND WHICH MAY INDEED BE FACTORY IN ORIGIN. THERE IS ALSO A TINY PEA SIZE HOLE ON THE FRONT OF ONE BOOKEND AS SHOWN.
