Antique Repousse Gilt Bronze Dresser Box with Key

Description

This antique gilt bronze box is done in the Napoleonic style. the front features the torch and the staff, crossed, and rams' head decorations grace all corners. The top has a raised cartouche. There are four small feet and the bronze bottom also is repousse. The box is lined with newer red velvet as shown. There is a working lock and key. condition is very good with as only defect fading of the gilding consistent with age.
Measurements are: 6 1/2" by 4" and 3 1/2" tall.
