    Description

    The Encrier a Pompe (Pump Inkwell) raises and lowers the ink level when one turns the top, which raises and lowers the displacement plunger inside. This item is missing the chain for the lid covering where the pen dips, but lid still present. There are two pen holders, one on each side. The condition is great ANTIQUE. It has not been polished. unknown if working as intended, it has some patina and rust as pictured. The finial 2 pieces will stay in place very well but easy to pull apart.
    There is some gold loss on the porcelain edges, but plenty on the barrel. VERY UNIQUE ARE RARE DESING/Decoration on barrel cobalt blue and white "branches" with gold lines. base is burgundy with gold embellishments , no marking found.
