Antique K & O Metal Bookend Display Stand Kronheim & Oldenbusch 1923

Description

This is an antique (dated 1923) K & O Bronze colored and brass metal bookend or display stand with a sliding end. It is of a man trying to control a pile of falling books. It stands just over 6" tall and weighs approx. 3 lbs. It is in good vintage condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. The body appears to be non-magnetic brass(?) metal with a dark wash while the sliding end appears to be hammered brass. There is some minor finish wear due to normal aging. It is stamped with a K & O Co logo, patent 1923 996. Successful buyer to pay either parcel or Priority mail plus insurance. Payment is expected within 5 days.
