Antique Hammered Brass Fireside Slipper Kindling Coal Scuttle Box w/ Ship motif on lid.
Very Old Rare Find, still in good condition.
This is a wooden framed box, covered in a hammered brass metal covering, with an embossed Clipper type ship on the lid.
unsure of age, this may be a victorian pieace but not sure so I'm calling it Antique early 1900's.
Always review pictures before purchase.
The wood is still in very good condition, with no notisible damage.
The brass covering has a lot of tarnish with some small areas of oxidation.
