Antique English Sheffield Plate Double Inkwell Stand Sand Shaker Blagden Hodgson

Description

Late Victorian silverplate inkwell stand by Blagden Hodgson of Sheffield. Includes a 4 inch by 11 inch footed tray with raised floral and fruit motifs, two wells for pens, and three bottle holders. Also has three pressed glass jars with silver lids (not individually marked), two for ink/water (caps missing) and one for sand.
Larger jars are about 2 1/2 inches high and shaker is about 2 inches high. They fit snugly into holders and glass pattern aligns with rims so they appear to be original to the set. There is a rod that slides through loops on the base which I could not remove but appears would come loose with a little more tarnish remover/lubrication--may be to clear out the holes in the sand shaker?
