    Antique copper, very large roasting pan, English, mid-19th century.  20" x 26", 5 1/2" deep. 22 lbs. This is a truly remarkable, antique English roasting pan. It is about as big as a roasting pan can be, and it needs a big oven to hold it. But if you want to roast--for example--a couple of large fowl at once, this is your pan. As you would expect on an English pan of the mid-19th century, its four corners are dovetailed and it has two hinged handles that do not take up as much room in the oven as French handles, which stand out a couple of inches on each side. Re-tinned. Condition: used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
