    Antique Brass Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) Ornamental Tray or Basket.
    Antique brass Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) ornamental tray/basket. Circa 1900. This unmarked brass tray is likely either French or German made but has all the elements of the Jugendstil/Art Nouveau style. It is well cast with lovely, flowing, period details of irises and the portraits of a young woman incorporated into the handle at either side. This is a beautiful piece, with a lovely aged patina, and would be a welcome addition to a late Victorian collection.
