ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU AUSTRIAN BRONZE FIGURINE SIGNED PETER TERESZCZUK Ukrainian.
I got this at an estate sale with a large lot of brass and bronze figurines .
I looked up the artist and found out that he was a Ukrainian that was largely active in the late 1800s early 1900s .
I saw that some of their works that’s quite a few dollars and thought I would list this one .
This statue weighs 2 lbs. 7 oz. it is approximately 6 inches wide, 4 inches deep and 6 1/2 inches high. All measurements are approximate.
condition wise …..it was used as an actual ash tray. There looks to be a dab of nail polish stuck on it, and the mount that is holding the boy to the pond is loose ,you can see a close-up of that in the last picture. I have not cleaned this since it came into my possession, but there are obvious signs of polish build up in the creases.
