Antique 1800s Italian REVERSE PAINTING GLASS, RELIGIOUS GIRL LADY, Wood 7.5” DIA

Wonderful antique 1800’s Italian “reverse painting on glass” with wood framed wall art. Most likely of Italian origin, but could maybe be French?? Purchased in a tiny, quaint French village, Eze, on the French Riviera about 25 years ago. The painting depicts perhaps a religious girl or could be a wealthy bejeweled woman. The wooden frame measures 7.5 inches in diameter and is gold and red. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips or issues whatsoever. There are two small cracks to the wood frame that has been repaired. Please see the last 2 pictures, picture 11 and 12. You have to look hard to see the cracks when it is hung. If the frame condition worries you, it can always be reframed, but wanted to keep the original piece intact.
Very collectible!  This is from my personal collection that I have had for over 25 to 30 years. I am currently downsizing and selling off some of my wonderful antique pieces.
