set of 13 precancel stamps FVF and
MNH
. It contains all face-different T
RANSPORTATION
precancel coils from
2123a
to
2133a
. This is the
SECOND
series, which was in issue between years 1985 and 1989.
This series shows the transition from the way that precancels were once printed into the newer format. The 8.5 and 10.1 denominations have the very first red
service inscribed
overprints of the transportation series. Traditional black bar precancels were soon replaced forever. The set includes the elusive 12c re-engraved B-press 2132b with slightly smaller 17½ mm design.
Some of these beautiful coils have very fine centering. There is a
30% premium
for
VF
but we offer better quality at our regular low price!
