Description:
Truly exquisite pair of 19th century Charles X gilt bronze candlesticks. The Classicizing bronze forms are intricately constructed and feature extensive guilloche turning and beading to the body.The design is one of the most enduring from the period, with a tapering fluted columnar shaft resting on a round domed foot. These are one of the finest Charles X candlesticks we have seen. The varied turnings, and levels of intricacy is exceptional.

Condition:
Ormolu finish is slightly worn. One base has a dent to its side. One bobeche is dented, only visible when taken out.
