. It is the
1981
American Wildlife
booklet 1880 to 1889. The specific 18c stamps are 1880
Bighorn
, 1881
Puma
, 1882
Seal,
1883
Buffalo
, 1884
Brown Bear
, 1885
Polar Bear
, 1886
Elk,
1887
Moose
, 1888
Deer
, and 1889
Pronghorn
. The attached pane is
perf. 11 on 2 or 3 sides.
The miniature format was the latest
USPS
plan to save money. The smaller size stamps would save paper. Having more stamps per sheet could lower the overall cost of printing them. Quality was sometimes sacrificed along the way.
Centering may vary considerably within a single pane.
The water activated stamps are carefully taken from
BK137
.60 vending booklets of 20. Unfolded panes were never printed and every pane has a
fold between the 2nd and 3rd rows
as issued. The folds are extremely fragile and repeated folding and unfolding will break the pane.
This pane will be shipped folded as issued.

The actual stamps may be different from this display, however we guarantee that they will be comparable or better condition or fully refunded. The
logos in the images are added digitally and are not printed on the actual stamps. The black background display mount is not included.
For pane singles the straight edge position may vary. For blocks/strips the position order will always be exactly as pictured.
We ship sets of stamps in Scott order (left to right) as pictured and/or stacked (top to bottom).
Stamps,
especially coils may have a natural curl. Gummed sheet stamps will often have gum breaker ridges.
Regarding Purchasing:
Purchasing is self service.
